Can eyesight be improved naturally?
In many cases, vision can be improved or supported naturally by addressing underlying factors such as visual habits, nutrition, stress, light exposure and lifestyle.. Natural approaches can help optimise visual function, reduce strain and support long-term eye health and conditions. This approach works alongside conventional optometry to support overall vision and eye health.
Do eye exercises really work?
Eye exercises can help improve focus in the distance and near, visual comfort, coordination and reduce eye strain, particularly for people who spend long hours on screens. They may also support aspects of visual function such as focusing and relaxation. They are most effective when combined with other strategies such as proper lighting, posture and lifestyle changes, aiming to also reduce dependency on glasses.
What conditions can natural eye care support?
Support focuses on improving overall eye health and addressing contributing factors. Natural eye care can support a wide range of conditions, including:
* Dry eyes
* Cataracts
* Macular disease
* Glaucoma
* Eye floaters
* Eye strain and fatigue
* Myopia (short-sightedness)
* Presbyopia (reading issues)
* Tired, strained, sore eyes
And much more!
How long does it take to see results?
This varies depending on the individual and the condition being addressed. Some people notice improvements in eye comfort and strain relatively quickly, while structural or long-term conditions may take longer to respond. Consistency with improved nutrition, lifestyle and recommended strategies is key.
Do I need a consultation?
While our guides and programs provide valuable general information, a consultation allows for a personalised approach tailored to your specific needs, symptoms and health history. This can significantly improve outcomes.
Does light exposure affect eye health?
Yes. Natural light, particularly sunlight, plays an important role in regulating circadian rhythms, supporting overall health and influencing eye development. Excessive exposure to artificial light, especially blue light from screens, may contribute to eye strain and visual fatigue. We can guide you specifically about your light exposure.
Are screens damaging my eyes?
Extended screen use can contribute to digital eye strain, including dryness, fatigue and blurred vision. This is often due to reduced blinking, prolonged focus and poor visual habits. Simple strategies such as regular breaks, proper lighting and eye exercises can help reduce these effects.
