Many people believe that once their eyesight changes, stronger glasses are the only option. At Natural Eye Care, we take a broader and more holistic approach. While glasses and regular eye examinations are important, we also explore ways to support and improve visual function naturally through eye exercises, visual habits, lifestyle changes, nutrition, stress management, mindset and environmental factors. Dr Jenny Livanos in addition to being an optometrist has trained as a Natural Vision Improvement teacher with Dr Janet Goodrich, best-selling Author of Natural Vision Improvement in the 1990’s.
Our eyes are not separate from the rest of the body. Vision is influenced by the brain, nervous system, posture, stress levels, sleep, light exposure, close-up work, digital devices, general health and even emotional wellbeing. Modern life places enormous strain on the visual system, especially through excessive screen use, artificial lighting, reduced outdoor time and constant close focusing.
Natural Eye Care aims to help relax visual strain, improve focusing flexibility, support eye coordination and encourage healthier visual habits. Our goal is not simply clearer eyesight on a chart, but improved visual comfort, reduced strain, healthier visual habits and better overall eye wellbeing.
Our approach is not a replacement for regular eye examinations or medical care. Results vary from person to person, and some conditions may respond better than others. Our approach is designed to complement traditional eye care while supporting healthier visual function and reducing visual stress where possible. We encourage all clients to continue regular eye examinations with their optometrist or ophthalmologist.
